Clay JD Walker and Taylor Swift...thumbs up for a howlin' good time, right?

I consider myself the honorary, self-proclaimed mayor of Walkertown, NC. They call me Clay JD Walker most of the time, and I'm the new guy here at 93.1 The Wolf! I hail from the beautiful mountains of West Virginia...been somewhere in that state all of my life, and never knew that there were people like me elsewhere in this great nation. However, after spending time in the Triad, I'm realizing that it is alright to be a redneck!

    There are three things in my life that motivate what I do.
        1.) My faith and love for God
        2.) My family (Mama and Papa Walker keep me in line)
        3.) My people (this means you!)

I love to meet new people! I want to make everyone in the Triad, regardless of local, honorary residents of

Walkertown...you're in Walkertown every weekday 10a-3p with 93.1 The Wolf! I cannot wait to meet everyone, hear everyone's stories (I love to hear a good story, and as a wise man once told me: never let the truth get in the way of a good story!), and I love my country music.

This is funny. My old college buddy Adam Nedeff put this clip on YouTube (because of the game show reference). Needless to say, I had no idea that I was included (from MU Report, the college news show we did on PBS). Let's just put it this way: I'll just keep on playing records here at The Wolf, and let my friends at Fox 8 do the news, ok?

P.S.: I was unpacking the other day, and found some long lost photos from my youth...yes, I'll say it...I was a very cute kid. What happened after that, however, I'll never know! Take a look!
